Craftyish Weekend

mood: okay okay

This weekend was full of crafty books, including three that I purchased at the local Japanese market.

My first purchase was on Friday. I bought Debbie Stoller's Stitch 'N Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker. Lots of really fun and funky stuff, and I'm looking forward to making the Jolly Roger sweater and Fashion First Aid Purse. The Anarchy Irony Hat is pretty cool as well. Check it out if you haven't already.

Purchased three craft books at the Japanese bookstore....one that features 3-D-ish fabric cards, another one that seems to have the title of "Zakka for All Seasons" and one that has a darling little Hedgehog on the front. I'll be scanning pages of these and posting them in the near future.

Like your site! I'm trying to find a local Japanese bookstore without much luck (ok, I'm not trying too hard to find one. I know once I find it I will spend quite a bit). I am also awaiting my SnB crochet book. I can't wait!

Thanks! When I went to the Japanese market last time, I spent $60 on various items! The internet is a really good resource though. My previous posts have suggestions on where to go and how to search. -Jodi
